LARA D’ // Works of art, for the face

This collection has been born out of a desire to add to the models in my UNIQUE collection, which is composed of laminated acetate frames characterised by clean, well-defined lines. I wanted to create a way to give greater focus to the use of the different acetates in one frame, using contrasting colours which are well balanced and perfectly harmonious. To further enhance the concept, the acetate is placed at different levels to produce the 3D effect. By using clean horizontal lines, all of the models in this collection have a recognisable linear movement.

Lara D’Alpaos – UNIQUE Collection

Italian eyewear label LARA D’ announces a new exclusive Mazzucchelli acetate collection of seven artistic ophthalmic models. Classically inspired shapes are re- invented using a blocking technique which lends an exciting sculpted 3-dimensional art deco infused elegance, further enhanced by innovative ‘mix and match’ colours and patterns.

The new acetate collection from Lara D’, highlights Lara D’Alpaos’ original style in design, with eye-catching layering effects and a playful mix of colourations that range from classical tortoise prints and luxurious petrol blue to a flash of fluo, aquamarine or fuchsia. Chic, soft pastel blue and pink, inspired by the most iconic colours of the FIAT 500, add a touch of vintage softness to the carefully curated colour palette.

Lara D’Alpaos is masterful in her ability to bring a unique mood of glamour to her eyewear designs, achieved through a combination of experimental features, artistic colour combinations and precise craftsmanship and finishing. The seven ophthalmic models launched in this new artisan line include 5 styles for women, 1 unisex shape and 1 men’s design. This special artisan acetate collection is made in the Cadore region of Italy by master craftsmen. The collection is now available to order.

Lara D Eyewear - Kayla

Model Kayla offers a bold shape with an inventive spirit. The top of the front has a distinctive angled line while the lower edge is perfectly smooth. The 3d laminations on the sides and bridge are inspired by the Art Deco style.

Lara D Eyewear - Kelli

Model Kelli is a narrow modified cat’s eye and features the lamination details on either side of the front and bridge. The style is for those who seek pure glamour and brilliant colour combinations suited to many skin tones.

A sumptuous statement cat eye frame, model Kristel balances exciting patterned acetates and pretty, contrasting “trims” with a couture style that is deeply feminine.

ABOUT THE BRAND
