You cant get more urban than doing a shoot with the infamous Sarah Settgast in a ram-shackled industrial part of Berlin wearing these matte mirrored model “Aplinist” by Einstoffen. I first saw these uber-cool frames with their unique matt mirrored lens at Opti, and am convinced some of my buddies purloined them, not knowing how much I loved this frame with its cool matte mirror effect.
The annoying thing about mirrored glasses has always been their susceptibility to streaks and spots. You had to clean them all the time. That’s over now! The new, matte mirrored lenses by Einstoffen repel all visible spots on their surface. Now you can run up those mountains like a true alpinist. The Yeti has got nothing on us.
This Einstoffen frame is made out of fifty percent wood, fifty percent acetate but hundred percent style. The front made of heated natural acetate but with wooden branches: the acetate collection is aesthetically reduced to the max and sports some of our more delicate shapes. it can be combined almost infinitely. Almost each mode is available in three or four colors because we need shades that match our sneakers! And yes, of course the name is a reference to the eponymous film .
