Haffman & Neumeister

German brand Haffmans & Neumeister has launched its inaugural collection this season. The line follows a strict design concept that tracks the evolution of glasses back to the simple round lens in its round frame. Designers Philipp Haffmans and Stefan Becker retrace these evolutionary steps forward, pinpointing the metamorphosis of each iconic shape.

Frames are made from 0.5mm thin sheets of stainless steel, laser cut into three pieces: one frame front and two temples.
The frames are then coated with PVD and precious metals, hand bent, assembled, and finished in Berlin, Germany.
Twenty-three models representing six key shapes have been presented in five frame colours.

Frames are available both with a special finishing and without. Models with the finishing feature acetate nose pads and temple tips in accenting colours such as dark green, brown, or havana. The ultimate in refinement, pure metal models are distinguished with their unadulterated lines.
