Dick Moby

Carole Greener is the latest edition to the TEF Entourage, and our expert in sustainable eyewear. She runs Les lunettes écologiques Magazine and will be doing our Eco Special shoot in Paris. She starts of wearing Dick Moby, a brand that creates sustainable eyewear with a durable DNA, with the mission to reduce plastic pollution. Their idea originated during a surf trip in Central America, where they were amazed at the amount of plastic waste in and around the sea and wondered if they could do something better with that.

For their black frames, they use Mazzucchelli acetate waste, while their coloured frames use the M49 biodegradable material that does not contain crude oil or toxic plasticizes, bringing pollution down to a minimum. It’s what they like to call, the “sunny side of plastic”
