As pioneers of the eyewear industry, our friends at ic! berlin know all about breaking new ground and exploring new territories. Their screw-less sunglasses redefined what eyewear could be over twenty years ago. This feather-light model “Fadeaway” of metal with rubber components is so light, that it was chosen by the astronauts of the Austrian Space Forum who considered it the perfect choice to withstand the harsh conditions of the Omani desert. The next step is to see how they fare on Mars, but it also did pretty well on Martin at today’s shoot.
